NICE!, letting the selections (overall very nice selections) breathe. It's not about the DJ and what he/she may believe are next level transitions/blends that takes one's DJ set to the so-called "next level." Ultimately it's about the music a DJ plays and the respect he/she may have (or not) for the music he/she spins. To me, ultimately it's "to each his own." But a DJ's respect for songs by producers/artists he spins is the ultimate, thus letting songs breathe. That IMO is what it's about and not crazy mixing techniques & EFXing to grab crowd's attention (Just my personal philosphy). Still trying my best to get there 100% (started DJing in 1983). Yes I'm a brutha educated @ the loft (although way, way, way late at the Loft's final official location at 3rd ave in alphabet City). NICE MUSIC SHOWCASE, ERIC.
